German Marc Lindemann ran a restaurant in the marina until he moved to the countryside. Vine leaves are fixed to the terrace, whilst in the pub you’re likely to find black and white photos of Mick Jagger or Julia Roberts. Champagne is at the top of the menu. The tapas are recommended, as well as the Angus fillet tataki with stir-fried vegetables and dark chocolate chili mousse with orange and ginger sauce. If the owner is feeling a little homesick, there will be asparagus from the German town of Bruchsal.
