Gazing at the stars above Santa Eulària: it’s past midnight, and diners have probably arrived at the panna cotta and grappa.The guests are dining at small tables in the courtyard under palms. Pink-coloured bougainvilleas illuminate the whitewashed walls of this building, one of the oldest in the town. Earlier in the evening, there had perhaps been saffron linguine with shrimp together with a white wine recommendation of the house. The owners import many of the ingredients from their home country of Italy.
