Constructed in the late 19th century, this city palace in the chic Chamberi district was once the residence of Duke Santo Mauro. Today, visitors to Madrid can feel a sense of majestic wellbeing in the 49 rooms and suites. Unlike the façade, the rooms are very modern and furnished in elegant tones of gray and brown. In the summer, guests can dine in the gardens. Visitors interested in time travel can get a sense of the former glo-ry in the restaurant, housed in what used to be the library, and in the conference room, located in what was once the ballroom.
