The façade with the bell tower is so white that it almost glares against the blue sky. This church from the 18th century, perched atop a hill, nearly burnt down during the Spanish Civil War and the altar had to be recreated from the villagers’ memories – but you can no longer see evidence of that today. English-language services are also held here several times a month, and a placard invites you to a celebration in the youth centre called “Messy Church” – everyone is welcome!
