This church is in many respects a record holder. Some claim more bocadillos are eaten on the church square in front of the Bar Costa than anywhere else, its bell tower dating from 1899 is the largest on the island and its location is the most central. In fact, it lies at the intersection of all the main roads: to Ibiza Town, Sant Miquel, Sant Llorenç and Sant Mateu. The church has been renovated several times since 1797 and its façade altered. The villagers, numbering around 500, as well as visitors are regularly invited to fairs.
