La Luna is all about the island’s foremost traditional product: the sobrasada, a spicy pork sausage. The high-quality sausage, which has been produced according to an ancient recipe for more than 100 years, is exported around the world. Due to a wave of Majorcan emigration around 1900, that even includes the Caribbean. Alongside sobrasadas in all sizes, many delicious pastries are also produced. There is a sobrasada museum and on request you can even see them being made – or you can just buy the sausages on site.
