The name says everything about the location: The Upper House occupies the top 13 floors of a 50-story business complex from the 1980s. The exterior of the building is fairly plain, which is why guests are all the more surprised when they enter the hotel. Young Hong Kong star architect Andre Fu created a modern, essentially Asian interior where light oak, sandstone, and marble take center stage. Particularly spectacular is the gourmet restaurant Café Gray Deluxe on the 50th floor, reached via a bridge spanning a 130-feet high atrium.
