THE STANDARD HIGH LINE NYC
PHOTOS MAPS

Sitting atop 56-feet concrete support columns, The Standard, by Polshek Partnership Architects, rises above the Meatpacking District and straddles the High Line, integrating the park into its architecture. The 20-story hotel draws on a century of modern architecture with its solid lines, hard surfaces, and cubist aesthetic. The floor-to-ceiling windows bring the city inside while also hinting at the voyeuristic interplay between hotel patrons and visitors to the park below.
