THE HIGH LINE HOTEL
PHOTOS MAPS

The High Line Hotel opened in 2013 in a neo-Gothic red-brick building from the 19th century, occupying an entire Chelsea street. The spaciousness of the grounds allows for cloistered gardens, where guests can linger over cocktails. Once a monastery, 60 rooms have been converted into luxury suites that are anything but ascetic—overstocked mini-bars, HD flat-screen TVs, and many with oversized king-sized beds with übercrisp white linens.
