Since its opening in 1912, Suvretta House has been a bastion of the finest Swiss hospitality. To stay here is to value tradition: a tuxedo for dinner in the stately, wood-paneled Grand Restaurant with its massive oak columns and five o’clock tea served in the traditional manner in the afternoon. The absolute clincher is its location away from the hubbub of St. Moritz, on a hill between Lake St. Moritz and Lake Silvaplana, including a magnificent view of the snow-covered peaks of Corviglia. All rooms were recently renovated. They combine a high standard of luxury with an elegant Belle Époque atmosphere.
