The six guest suites of the swank designer lodge are built on stilts right next to the bank of the River Sweni. The colors—dark greens and browns of the shoreline vegetation—give a deep sense of security. In the late evening you sometimes hear rustling and commotion in the reeds: nocturnal hippos searching for food. On the early morning game drive you roam through the 15.000-hectare Singita concession on the eastern border of Kruger Park. The area, completely untouched by humans till now, is reserved exclusively for the few guests of the two Singita Lodges.
