The adventure begins at the gate, where travelers are given a map to guide them along a 20-kilometer gravel trail through the wilderness to the guest house. Three and a half hours from Cape Town, the 54.000-hectare reserve operates a unique project whose goal is to reintroduce the rare white lion to the wild. Guests can stay in three different lodges. The most elegant is Tilney Manor with six guest rooms in the Cape Verde style, with a crackling fireplace that invites you to stay and relax.
