Among the islands dining areas, the most intriguing is the 5.8 Restaurant. Located at the bottom of a spiral staircase, ten tables are encased in a glass room that is 5.8 metres beneath the ocean. As the worlds largest all glass undersea restaurant, guests will have their meals and wine accompanied by an unbelievable show of sea life. All of the cuisine on the island is thoughtfully sourced, organic and artisanal. 

German born chef de cuisine Bjoern Van den Oever setup one of the most exciting and unique gourmet temples 5.8 Underwater at Hurawalhi Maldives. Bjoern is furthermore an incredible food artist.
