Five bungalows in South Africa’s savanna, located in the heart of the 185,000 acre Madikwe Game Reserve on the Botswana border, offer a safari experience unlike any other. The formerly private lodge of a South African tycoon was opened to guests in 2008. The interior is spectacular, combining furniture by Fendi and Philipp Plein with Venetian mirrors and crystal chandeliers. The glass walls in the guest bungalows disappear into the floor, and infinity pools create the illusion of swimming straight into the wilderness.
