A private residence built in 1870 in Ponsonby, arguably Auckland’s most beautiful suburb, has become a charming and intimate hotel. It only has 14 suites whose furnishings combine carefully selected antiques and collector pieces with modern classics. Some suites have direct access to the romantic garden. The owners are opera enthusiasts and share their passion with their guests. Almost every evening before dinner there are musical presentations in the lobby.
