In 1910, diplomat Georges Neyt built his own personal “little Versailles of the Ardennes” just outside the town of Spa. Situated on a slight rise with a marvelous view of the Ardennes forest, this Neo-Renaissance mansion was a family estate for many years before it was converted into a hotel. However, it was only after Anne Lüssem, an entrepreneur from Aachen, Germany, acquired the estate and renovated it with such great care in 2006 that it regained its original purpose as an elegant sanctuary.
