The Mandarin Oriental Munich’s glamorous past as a ballroom is still visible today. Built in 1875 in the neo-Renaissance style, the white building with its signature tower is the smallest among Munich’s luxury hotels and is known for its very personal service as well as its gourmet restaurant (one Michelin star). The rooms were completely revamped in 2007. The ambience is classic, and select antiques set eye-catching accents. The hotel is in a quiet location on a small shopping street, yet the Hofbräuhaus is only steps away.
