In Mandarin, “jia” means “at home,” and that is precisely how guests should feel here. It’s fitting that the 56 studios and suites are located on 25 floors in a former residential building in Causeway Bay. Each room is divided into different living areas and has a kitchenette. This is the first boutique hotel in Asia designed by Philippe Starck, and the atmosphere is much different than at home. Details such as lamps and door handles are custom-made. Marble bathrooms, tones of white and cream contrasting with teak floors, and stately furniture breathe romantic elegance into the living spaces.
