INTERCONTINENTAL DAVOS
PHOTOS MAPS

Perched on a hill over Lake Davos at the base of the Flüela Pass, the Intercontinental Davos stands out with its gleaming-gold façade. After a five-year construction phase, the spectacular hotel opened in January 2014 in the heart of Graubünden’s stunning mountain landscapes. The interior is a refreshing mix of urban chic and alpine tradition. A glass light sculpture is suspended from the lobby, interacting with the warm color palette and natural materials to exude a welcoming vibe. A total of three restaurants offer international/alpine cuisine, like traditional Japanese Shabu-shabu fondue served with Wagyū beef. Each of the 216 generously sized rooms features contemporary design, while the suites offer breathtaking views of Davos and the mountains from the private balconies. The highest city in the Alps has been a favorite amongst hikers and winter-sport enthusiasts since the 1930s, when the world’s first T-bar lift opened. Alpine herbs are used in the spa treatments, perfect after a long day on the slopes.
