A homage to movie stars of an era long-passed: The lodges are named after stars like Grace Kelly, Audrey Hepburn, and Brigitte Bardot. Owner Cengiz Aksoylar fulfilled a life-long dream and created five guesthouses styled in ’50s chic, surrounded by thickets, oleanders, and cedars, right in the middle of nowhere perched atop a hill between the town Kalkan and the longest sand-beach in the Turkish Riviera: Patara Beach—famous as a breeding grounds for the Loggerhead sea turtle. The beach is only accessible by foot, through an archaeological excavation site, passing a triumphal arch and sarcophagi, jutting from the sand. All these are relics of the harbor city of antiquity, Patara.
