The roots of this former monastery reach back to the 16th century. For over 300 years, this building in the heart of the Inca city of Cuzco served as a seminary for priests until it began its new life as a hotel in 1965. Guests enjoy peace and quiet within the monastery walls. Surrounded by a cloister, the inner courtyard with its 300-year-old cedar provides an inviting spot for guests to relax. The hotel’s 126 rooms and suites are decorated with massive dark wooden furniture in a Spanish colonial style.
