This neoclassical hotel building is one of the most remarkable structures in the heart of Helsinki. Carl Kämp was a visionary. In 1887, when Kämp constructed the building, he demonstrated that he could bring high society to the capital of Finland. The 179 rooms and suites as well as the public spaces have retained their 19th-century charm even after a complete renovation. The highlight is the Mannerheim Suite with its sumptuously furnished marble bathroom and private dining room featuring a view over Esplanade Park.
