Ferries from the mainland used to dock at this white ferry house on Munkmarsch Harbor before the Hindenburgdamm causeway was built in 1927. Today, the ferry house has become a luxurious hotel with a hint of Frisian country house. Suites up to 1,000 square feet in size feature high-class textiles, precious woods, and valuable antiques. In the gourmet restaurant Fährhaus, guests can enjoy Alexandro Pape’s cuisine, which has been awarded two Michelin stars.
