The resort’s beach is much too nice to simply spend your time sunbathing. Dinghies, surfboards, and kayaks stand at the ready, and if guests prefer something faster, they can go waterskiing. Regardless of their handicap, golfers will enjoy playing on the resort’s spacious 18-hole course. Hole 14 is impressive: a par 5 with a double dogleg where players need to take water into account along its entire length. Those new to the sport are free to experiment with their swing on the meticulously groomed 9-hole course. Evenings are for entertainment: After dinner at Infinity Blue, a restaurant on the beach, or at the French-inspired Château de Bel Ombre, native dance groups perform the famous sega, a style of music and dance that was once meant to drive out the devil, but has long since become an exciting experience for the senses.
