Located at the foot of Pinnacle Peak in the high Sonoran desert, one of the largest desert landscapes in the world, this resort offers Southwestern style architecture and individual adobe casitas. Guests have two golf courses to choose from: The Pinnacle, designed by Tom Weiskopf in 1996, and The Monument, also conceived by the former British Open Champion. Both are very special courses that simply cannot be found in Europe. Verdant green fairways wend through an austere landscape, where cacti tower along the edges of the fairways and players even encounter the occasional roadrunner. Guests who would like to see even more of the surroundings (the Sonoran desert is highly diverse), can take part in guided hikes and bicycle tours along old Indian trails, or they can explore even more remote landscapes by jeep.
