FAENA HOTEL+UNIVERSE
The plain brick façade of the former grain warehouse in Buenos Aires’ renovated harbor district of Puerto Medero Este doesn’t hint at the opulence of its interior design conjured up by Philippe Starck and Argentinean fashion guru Alan Faena. The entire hotel is a stage where guests such as Madonna, Coldplay, models, and rock stars can effectively enjoy the limelight. Black marble, red velvet, huge crystal mirrors, and stuffed animal trophies on the walls provide for dramatic effects.
