The journey itself is worth a visit. From the first vantage point you can look out over the entire bay of Port de Sant Miquel, then follow the path cut into the rocks along the cliffs to the 100,000-year-old cave. As you follow in the footsteps of the pirates who first discovered the cave and who used it as a hiding and smuggling depot, you can today admire stalagmites and stalactites. The guided tours in various languages are informative and entertaining.
