Nestled among the Cederberg Mountains, Bushmans Kloof Wilderness Reserve & Wellness Retreat is situated in a landscape where people have lived since time immemorial. With just 13 rooms and three suites, all of which were recently renovated, it is a small and sophisticated retreat which is deeply committed to supporting nature conservation projects. More than 130 archeological sites with 6,000-year old petroglyphs by South African Bushmen, the San, are located nearby. They are among the oldest surviving artwork by humans; guests can choose to participate in excursions led by lodge guides to visit these sites.
